DAY 1
Arrival in Stresa and check-in at the hotel.
Dinner in the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 2
The first day you will spend at the Villa Pallavicino Zoo, enjoying the company of zebras, cangaroos, llamas, deer as well as countless spieces of exotic birds. For the children its is possible to interact directly with the animals in the park's petting zoo. There is also a playground for the children, a botanical garden and a lovely kiosk where you can enjoy lunch, coffee or and ice-cream.
In the afternoon, if you have time left over, why not play a game of family minigolf at the Lov Beach Bar just outside of the park gates.
Dinner in the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 3
The next day it's time to enjoy Lake Maggiore from above. Take the cable car up to Mount Mottarone and the sitlift up to the top for a 360° view of the Italian and Swiss alps, reaching all the way down to the Po plain and Milan in the south. Have fun riding the exhilarating Alpyland bobsleigh, hike along one of the pleasant mountain paths and why not stop for lunch in one of the restaurants?
On the way down you will stop at the intermediate cable car station in Alpino to visit the Alpinia botanical garden which hosts an impressive collection of alpine flora as well as a breathtaking view of the lake and the Borromean Islands.
After the visit, descent with the cable car to Stresa.
Dinner in the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 4
Breakfast in the hotel and check-out.
Time to enjoy some relaxation on the beach on the lakefront while the children have fun on the adjacent playground before returning home.
